Delete your account

Delete your Leksio account and learning data directly in the app, or use the support path below if you can no longer access your account.

Delete your account in Leksio

  1. Open your profile. Sign in to Leksio, open your Profile, and scroll to Danger Zone.

  2. Choose Delete account. Review the information about the account, progress, and settings that will be removed.

  3. Confirm permanent deletion. Choose “Delete account permanently”. Leksio deletes the active account and signs you out.

The deleted account and learning progress cannot be restored. If a provider operation needs additional time, the app will confirm that deletion is underway and the account will no longer be available.

If you cannot access the app

Email privacy@leksio.app from your account email with the subject “Leksio account deletion request”. Include the email address and sign-in method shown by your provider. Do not send your password or a one-time code.

We will use a proportionate check to confirm that you control the account. The expected response and completion period for this support fallback is within one month .

What deletion covers

The in-app flow removes the active Leksio account and associated data, including:

  • the Leksio backend identity and Auth0 profile used to access Leksio;
  • practice progress, recall ratings, review history, and scheduling state;
  • settings, favourites, dismissed cards, and card problem reports;
  • registered push tokens and reminder-delivery records.

Deleting Leksio does not delete the Google or other external account used to sign in.

Retention and exceptions

Limited information may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, or records that must be kept for a legal, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reason. The operational and backup timeline is while your account is active and for up to 12 months after account deletion, with backup copies removed within 90 days . Retained information is not available as an active account and cannot be restored through Leksio.
